MathTools — a Quirento Ecommerce Private Limited brand · Last updated: November 2026

The short version: Use the tools lawfully. The calculators are provided "as is" and run entirely in your browser. Keep your account credentials to yourself. There are no paid tiers, no hidden fees, and no subscriptions. The data rules that come with using the site are described below.

What each tool does is documented in the user guide. The data rules sit in the Privacy Policy and on the Security page.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and online mathematical calculators operated under the name MathTools (the "Service"), a brand of Quirento Ecommerce Private Limited, New Town Business District, Rajarhat, Kolkata – 700156, West Bengal, India ("we", "us"). By using the Service — with or without an account — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

2. What the Service is

MathTools provides browser-based mathematical calculators, utilities, and graphing tools. The calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript — no numerical data is sent to our servers to be processed. The free tools need no account; an optional account keeps your calculation history synced across devices. There are no paid tiers, API keys, or credits. The Security page describes the controls that protect your data.

3. Who may use the Service

You may use the Service if you are at least 13 years old and can form a binding agreement with us. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You must not use the Service if you have been suspended from it, or if doing so would break the laws that apply to you.

4. Your inputs and your rights

  • •You keep everything. We claim no ownership over the equations, numbers, or data you enter into the calculators.
  • •Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your calculations before using them for critical decisions (e.g., engineering, finance, or medical purposes).

5. Accounts

  • •Optional for tools. The calculators work anonymously. An account is only required if you want to save your history.
  • •Give accurate details. Sign up with your own email address — it is how we reach you about the account.
  • •One person, one account. Do not share account access, and do not create accounts to evade limits or suspensions.
  • •Keep your credentials confidential. The account is your responsibility; anything done through it is treated as done by you.
  • •You can leave at any time. You can delete your account from your Account page, which removes your history from our database.

6. Acceptable use

To keep the Service fast, fair and legal for everyone, you agree not to:

  • •probe, scan or attack the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our infrastructure, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • •bypass usage limits or overload the Service — including automated bulk requests, retry storms, or aggressive scraping;
  • •resell or rebrand the Service, or present it as your own, without our written permission.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and free of charge. We work hard to keep every tool online and accurate, but we do not promise the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Tools may change, be updated, limit their usage, or be retired. We may also introduce additional features in the future.

8. No professional advice

The Service is a mathematical calculation tool. Nothing on the site or in your results constitutes legal, financial, tax, engineering, or other professional advice. Always double-check important calculations manually before relying on them.

9. Intellectual property of the Service

The Service itself — its name, logo, design, text, and code — belongs to Quirento Ecommerce Private Limited and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms gives you rights to our branding or code beyond using the Service as intended. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

10. Third-party services

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate use of the site and Google AdSense to show clearly labelled advertisements on public pages. Ads support the free browser tools; they are not placed inside the calculator results. Those services are described in the Privacy Policy; the consent banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies before they are used, and neither Analytics nor AdSense receives your calculated numbers.

11. Privacy and data retention

Because MathTools calculates in your browser, your numbers never leave your device. Guest history is temporary and is deleted automatically upon reload. Account history is capped at 100 recent calculations and is removed if you delete your account. The Privacy Policy describes the full data story — accounts, cookies, logs and your rights — the Security page describes the controls that protect it, and both form part of these Terms.

12. Enforcement and suspension

We do not monitor the math you do. We do keep an eye on the health of the Service: automated limits protect it, and if we detect abuse — attacks, limit evasion, or harm to other users — we may throttle, suspend or close the account involved. Where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to stop serious harm, we may act immediately.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. You use the tools at your own risk and are responsible for verifying the results.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quirento Ecommerce Private Limited and MathTools are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to ₹1,000 (approx. USD 12). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Quirento Ecommerce Private Limited against claims, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

16. Copyright complaints

We respect copyright. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, contact us via support@maths.tools with the details of the material and the rights concerned, and we will act promptly.

17. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can end your account by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content rights, warranties, liability, indemnity and governing law — survive it.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live, disputes arising from the Service or these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts with competence over West Bengal, India. If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.

20. Contact

Questions about these Terms: get in touch via support@maths.tools. Security reports are handled the same way — see the Security page.

Common questions about these terms

Can I use MathTools for my homework?
Yes. MathTools is designed to help students learn and check their work. However, we recommend using the step-by-step examples in our Guides to understand the underlying math, rather than just copying the final answer.
Are the calculations guaranteed to be 100% accurate?
We rigorously test every calculator, but like any software, edge cases or floating-point precision issues can occasionally occur. Always verify critical numbers manually before using them for engineering, medical, or financial decisions.
Do I have to pay to use the tools?
No. All 34 calculators, utilities, and graphing tools on MathTools are completely free. There are no premium tiers, API keys, or hidden fees.
Can I use the results commercially?
Yes. You retain full ownership of the inputs you provide and the results you generate. You are free to use them in your own commercial projects.
